Moving with Pets to Hawaii

Moving with pets is never easy, and the state of Hawaii has the extra complication of quarantine laws to ensure diseases like rabies do not become a problem here. Thankfully, what until recent years was a mandatory 120 day quarantine for all pets has now been modified to allow for immediate entry—however only if the pet owners get all the pet’s medical paperwork in order in a process that must start 120 days ahead of the pet’s trip to Hawaii.

	My family has two yellow labradors, "Maui" and "Sierra", that we still affectionately refer to as puppies. They love living here on Maui and we hope you will also enjoy life here together with your pets!

Many condo associations on Maui do not allow pets, however there are a few that do. For a list of condo complexes that are pet-friendly, just send me an email with a subject of Pet Friendly Condos, and let me know what area of Maui you’re interested in, e.g. West Maui or South Maui.
